Position: Sales and Design

Who you are:

You have a proven 10+ year history in sales, customer care and building and design. You can work independently, generate and follow-up on leads and connect with customers to assess their building/remodeling ideas and budgets. You consult and recommend design and layouts that best fit the client’s needs and timelines. You have a portfolio of past successes to share with us showing your skills with CAD design software. From sourcing leads, conceptualizing design and estimating cost and resources, to finalizing bids and sales agreements, to the finalized project, you manage and follow-through with all aspects of the process. Additionally, you work well with our team and champion the sales and design process of our cabinet factory with at least 5 years of experience in cabinetry construction.


  • CAD – school or on the job experience
  • 10+ years in design, renovation and remodels
  • 5 years in cabinetry
  • Sales & management experience

Essential requirements:

  • Understand and demonstrate the mission and values of the company
  • Consistently meet agreed upon sales quota for the month, quarter and annually
  • Generate sales proposals, promotions, and events to gain business within budget
  • Meet consistent number of new and existing clients through various networking activities to generate sales goals
  • Prepare an individual, specific annual sales plan including the strategies and tactics to be used along with a proactive action plan; include such things as:
  • Target market
  • Building new relationships
  • Maintaining existing client relationships
  • Sales goals and activities to meet the goals—in office; field; client venues
  • Budget
  • Strengths and weaknesses of the company and its products to prepare for those type conversations
  • Networking and event activities; Social Media utilization
  • Reporting structures and process for tracking leads, customers and sales activities/successes
  • Completes administrative work accurately and within the designated time frames to meet invoicing, pay, logistic, service delivery and other business deadlines; includes, but is not limited to maintaining a CRM program, prospecting and sales reports, paperwork regarding expense accounts, travel, and other costs and activities of sales work
  • Design portfolio showing renovation, drawing, production process
  • Managing full cycle of large remodel projects
  • Manage teams of design and remodel crews
  • Strong customer engagement and communication
  • Able to take the drawings from signature to installation
  • Able to follow full process of projects
  • Able to manage multiple projects at same time in various stages of production
